Currently we are featuring the art of glass blowers Jeremie Draper and Alex Stisser.
Jeremie Draper is the winner of the Rickert - Ziebold Trust Award of 2002 for her Glass
Fashion Odyssey and Alex Stisser is Lead Gaffer at the Museum of Glass in Tacoma,
Washington.
We hope you enjoy the artwork of both Jeremie and Alex and we hope to see you in our
shop soon. Remember, 73 & counting artisans are featured in our shop in a large variety of
arts and crafts with all items handmade/handcrafted by local and area artisans.

been created by locally raised artist, Alex
Stisser.
Not to be missed is his "Toy Series".
From the small town of Galva, Illinois, Alex
has been working in glass since 1993. He
earned his BFA in Glass & Sculpture from
Illinois State University and also studied in
Wolverhampton, England.
Alex has worked at The Haystack
Mountain School of Crafts in Maine,
Pilchuck Glass School in Washington State
and Benjamin Moore, Inc. in Seattle.
Alex often spends vacations driving a
tractor around the family farm near
Kewanee/Galva.
In 2002, Stisser joined the Museum of
Glass Hot Shop Team in Tacoma, where he
currently serves as a Lead Gaffer.

Shop.
